A recent WRAP report sought to investigate the potential for AD to manage a range of crop pests and diseases – of particular interest to farm-fed AD systems.   It also investigated the potential for pasteurisation to manage these pests and diseases, and informed subsequent updates to the PAS110 digestate specification.

Our AD experts helped with experimental design, set up bench-scale AD systems at Fera and trained their staff in its use.  This project demonstrates our skills and knowledge in experimental design, bench-scale AD, pathogen / hazard management in AD, and digestate quality.
